Band 'o' the Day: Local Natives

Just trust me on this one, Local Natives are already your new favourite band. Harmonies to make Fleet Foxes proud, afro-pop guitars a la Santana, screaming like Man Man or Modest Mouse at their best, and beats reminiscent of Yeasayer, these guys are the shit.

Already big in the UK, with their album available free online (just google for a torrent of "Gorilla Manor") before it has even been released (don't worry, it's due out in February), these guys are sure to be the buzz band of all the summer festivals. Don't get left behind!
